We sprinkled a little magic into the kitchen this Halloween! 🎃At Saledo, we blended the gluten-free, fiber-rich texture of Green Banana Flour with sorghum flour, and mixed it with butter, eggs, and apple juice concentrate.The result? Soft, wholesome cookies that truly taste enchanting.These fun and delicious Halloween cookies are the perfect magical fix for your sweet cravings! 🍪✨
Ingredients:
70 g (approx. 3.5 tbsp) Saledo Green Banana Flour
65 g (approx. 6.5–7 tbsp) Sorghum Flour
40 g (approx. 3 tbsp, melted) Butter
2 Eggs
50 ml Apple Juice Concentrate
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a bowl and let it cool slightly.Add the eggs and apple juice concentrate, then whisk well.
Stir in the green banana flour and sorghum flour (if you want a spiced version, add your spices at this stage).The dough should be slightly sticky.
Let it rest in the freezer for about 15–20 minutes.
Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper, dusting lightly with flour.
Cut into your favorite Halloween shapes and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 12–14 minutes.
Notes:
Baking time may vary depending on your oven model, so keep an eye on them while baking.
We used apple juice concentrate as a natural sweetener, but you can substitute with other liquid sweeteners.
Keep in mind that different sweeteners can slightly alter the dough’s texture, so adjust as needed.
