Saledo is a women's initiative founded in Istanbul in 2022 and set out with an innovative vision in the sustainable food sector. Starting out in the sector with the production of green banana flour, Saledo has gained a brand identity over time that aims to produce healthy, delicious and natural products. By including some of the bananas it grows in its 100,000 m² greenhouse in the Alanya district of Antalya in advanced recycling processes, it follows a path that has adopted the principle of sustainability.
As a result of more than a year of R&D studies, laboratory analyses and examination of international examples, the potential of the raw form of green banana was discovered and this discovery was crowned with the production of green banana flour, a gluten-free, functional and healthy flour alternative. This product is obtained by peeling banana peels, drying them in dehydration devices and grinding them, and offers a perfect alternative for those seeking a healthy life.
Saledo stands out as an initiative with social responsibility, beyond being just a food brand. Membership in prestigious organizations such as UN Women (United Nations Women), EWA (Empowering Women in Agrifood) and TÜGİP (Turkey Food Innovation Platform) reinforces the company's commitment to sustainability and women's entrepreneurship.
Saledo, which entered the retail sector in January 2024, began selling green banana flour through marketplaces, stores selling gluten-free products and its own website. In addition, it continues its R&D studies for corporate sales and collaborations in sectors such as pastry, supplementary food, cosmetics, meat and vegan production.
Saledo continues to grow with firm steps as a brand that aims to add value to its customers and leave a permanent mark on society by offering healthy, natural and sustainable products.
