
When sweet cravings hit, we all look for the same thing: a quick, easy, and irresistibly delicious treat.
At Saledo, we combined the refreshing aroma of blueberries with the rich flavor of chocolate and brought them together in a soft, moist cake texture. The result? A delightful Blueberry Chocolate Cake that offers fruity freshness and the perfect harmony of chocolate in every bite!
Ingredients
• 200 g (1 cup, half reserved for topping) Dark Chocolate
• 100 g (4.5 tbsp) Butter
• 30 g (2.5 tbsp) Saledo Green Banana Flour
• 3 medium Red Apples
• 15 g (1.5 tbsp) Cocoa Powder
• 50 g (3.5 tbsp) Apple Juice Concentrate
• 125 g (1 cup) Fresh Blueberries
Instructions:
1. Peel and grate the apples.
2. In a separate bowl, melt the butter and half of the dark chocolate using the double-boiler method.
3. Mix the apples with the melted butter-chocolate mixture.
4. Then add the apple juice concentrate, Saledo green banana flour, and cocoa, and mix with a spatula.
5. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 170°C for 25–30 minutes.
6. After removing the cake from the oven, let it cool to room temperature, then place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
7. Melt the remaining chocolate, pour it over the cake, and decorate with blueberries.
💡 You can adjust the thickness of your cake to your liking.
A 26 cm round ring mold was used.
If you prefer a thicker base, choose a smaller pan.You can bake the cake in a round pan and decorate it after it cools.
