We continue to share our impact in the fields of sustainable agriculture and upcycling. In this context, Duygu Yılmaz Köksal was a guest on Akıllı Tarım (Smart Agriculture), broadcast on Bloomberg HT and hosted by İrfan Donat. The program also featured Tuğçe Ergün Cireli, co-founder of Foodback.
During the broadcast, the founding story of Saledo and the origins of our green banana flour initiative were shared in detail. While recounting the challenges and achievements we experienced throughout our entrepreneurial journey, Duygu Yılmaz Köksal also highlighted the contributions of the EIT Food-supported Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) program to our venture.
Tuğçe Ergün Cireli spoke about the importance of the support mechanisms created for women entrepreneurs in the 5th year of EWA, the collaborations within the ecosystem, and how the program has amplified women’s voices in the agri-food sector.
Being part of this program gave us the opportunity to share not only our venture but also the broader impact we are creating in agricultural transformation, sustainable food production, and women’s entrepreneurship with a wider audience.
