When sweet cravings strike, we all think of the same thing: A quick, practical, and equally delicious escape. At Saledo, we have reimagined the iconic Snickers flavor with the nutritional power of green banana flour. By blending the crunchy texture of roasted peanuts with the lightness of green banana flour, we’ve created a wholesome alternative for your sweet moments. The result? A guilt-free, energy-boosting, and unforgettable Green Banana Flour Snickers that perfectly complements a healthy lifestyle!

Ingredients

For the Base:

  • 30 g (3 tbsp) almond flour
  • 30 g (2.5 tbsp) Saledo green Banana Flour
  • 60 g (4 tbsp / puréed) dates
  • 60 g (4 tbsp) peanut butter
  • 20 g (1.5 tbsp) date syrup

For the Peanut Filling:

  • 100 g (approx. 6 heaping tbsp) peanut butter
  • 20 g (1.5 tbsp) date syrup
  • 20 g (1.5 tbsp / puréed) dates
  • 130 g (nearly 1 cup) unsalted roasted peanuts
  • 10 g (1 heaping tsp) coconut oil

For the Topping:

  • 125 g (approx. 2.5 tea glasses) dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Prepare the Base: Combine all the base ingredients in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into a mold of your choice to shape it (a 15 cm round mold was used for this recipe). Let it rest in the freezer for 1 hour.
  2. Add the Filling: For the filling layer, mix all ingredients except the whole peanuts in a bowl and spread evenly over the chilled base. Sprinkle the whole peanuts on top and freeze for another 15 minutes.
  3. The Chocolate Finish: Remove from the freezer, coat with melted dark chocolate, slice as desired, and serve!

💡 Note: We used date syrup as a natural sweetener. Depending on your preference, you can also use alternatives like agave syrup or apple juice concentrate.
