On December 18, 2024, we were very happy to take part in the Hitalks.co event as part of the panel titled “How Will the Future Be Fed?”. At this event, Saledo was not only a speaker but also represented as a sustainable venture shaping the eating habits of the future. Just like last year, this year was another day filled with knowledge and inspiration.
The panel covered many crucial topics, including sustainable agricultural practices, technology-assisted food production, the use of alternative protein sources, and the growing adoption of plant-based nutrition systems—each discussed by leading experts in their fields. At Saledo, we had the opportunity to share in detail why we exist in the food ecosystem, the problems we address, and our environmental impact.
We explained how the principles of sustainability and upcycling, which lie at the core of our venture, create tangible benefits in the food industry. Through our work in these areas, we aim to both reduce our environmental footprint and increase social benefit.
Throughout the event, we were once again reminded that these topics—so crucial to both individual consumer habits and industry-wide transformation—need to reach much broader audiences. We believe events like these play a powerful role in raising awareness within the food system and creating more opportunities for collaboration.
