With our sustainability-driven vision, Saledo continues to make its voice heard on the international stage. As part of the Dutch Week of Circular Economy (March 17–22, 2025) in the Netherlands, we were invited to take part in the Fiber Factory event hosted by Wageningen University & Research.
An International Gathering in the Sustainable Food Ecosystem
As a member of the Foodvalley Upcycling Community, we joined fellow upcycling-focused food producers, academics, innovative startups, and numerous stakeholders working in sustainability.
Our green banana chips displayed at our stand attracted great attention—receiving full marks from visitors for both taste and nutritional value. We had the opportunity to share the story behind our products, our philosophy, and our sustainable production model with participants.
Throughout the event, our dear teammate Pınar Erden Köksal represented Saledo, engaging directly with visitors and sharing the transformation story behind our products.
Collaboration, Conscious Consumption, and Global Impact
This event once again demonstrated that a more resource-efficient, conscious, and collaborative food system is possible—guided by the principles of circular economy and upcycling. Together with professionals from all over the world, we discussed and showcased how raw materials perceived as surplus can be transformed into valuable, functional products.
Let’s Shape the Future Together
At Saledo, we will continue to explore the opportunities offered by upcycling, both in Türkiye and globally. We are committed to bringing fresh energy to the food sector with our innovative, eco-friendly, and nutritious products.
