When we have a sweet tooth, we all want a quick, easy, and delicious solution.
So, at Saledo, we combined the gluten-free and fiber-rich properties of Green Banana Flour with cornstarch and added plenty of dark and white chocolate. The result? Soft, melti-in-your-mouth, delicious chocolate cookies!
Ingredients:
· 30 g (3 tablespoons) Saledo Green Banana Flour
· 30 g (3.5 tablespoons) cornstarch
· 1 egg
· 1 g (¼ teaspoon) baking soda
· 2.5–3 tablespoons dark chocolate (chips or chunks)
· 2.5–3 tablespoons white chocolate (chips or chunks)
· 50 g (3.5 tablespoons) butter
· 40 g (3 tablespoons) coconut sugar or brown sugar
Preparation:
1. Melt the butter and let it cool.
2. Beat the eggs and sugar. Add the cooled butter and continue mixing.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the green banana flour, cornstarch, and baking soda.
4. Slowly add the dry mixture to the egg mixture and combine with a spatula.
5. Add the chocolate pieces and mix again with a spatula.
6. Chill the dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
8. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts and roll them into balls. (Don't press too hard, they will spread while baking.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–14 minutes. Be sure to let them cool, as they will harden as they cool.
