In 2010, Duygu Yılmaz Köksal graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. In 2024, she returned—this time as an entrepreneur and a finalist. As a finalist in the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards, she reunited under the same roof with the rector, academics, alumni, and key figures from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Saledo’s impactful, women-led approach—centered on local production and preventing food surplus—continues to attract attention on a global scale. Although this year’s award went to another recipient, being part of such a prestigious platform and being recognized as one of the alumni whose post-graduation journey makes the university proud was a source of great joy and motivation for us.
As Saledo continues to develop sustainable and innovative solutions for food systems, Duygu Yılmaz Köksal’sinspiring journey drives our brand’s vision forward. We are proud to carry the entrepreneurial spirit beyond graduation and expand our impact.
